Day on the Green - Emerald Glen Park

Saturday · Dublin, CA

Day on the Green was born at the Oakland Coliseum in 1973, where Bill Graham created one of the great outdoor concert experiences in rock history. For nearly 20 years, it was the Bay Area's coming-of-age tradition, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, The Eagles, The Clash, U2, Santana, Journey. We carry that name forward with deep respect for what it meant to this region.

Boys of Summer was born in Southern California, where these songs first took flight. Since 2004, the band has carried that unmistakable sound across the country with meticulous musicianship, soaring harmonies and a genuine love for the music.

The goal is simple: honor every arrangement, every guitar line and every vocal stack—then give the audience the feeling of hearing it all live again.

Jimmy Williamson

A seasoned touring drummer whose deep pocket and vocal instincts hold the show together—from the quietest ballad to the biggest rock finale.

Nate King

Standing out front and bringing Glenn Frey’s vocals to life, Nate also anchors the band’s guitar sound—moving from B-Bender and slide guitar to rock leads and pedal steel.

Bass · Vocals

Mike Bear

A dedicated bassist who brings the detail, restraint and melodic character of the classic recordings to every song in the catalog. A seasoned player, Mike has toured 20 countries with National and International artists. A Los Angeles native, Mike has spent many years in music education and production.

Keyboards · Guitar · Banjo · Vocals

Lafe King

A Los Angeles multi-instrumentalist, arranger and Michigan State jazz alumnus with more than two decades of touring and recording experience.

Steve Probst

Born and raised in Downey, California (Musical birthplace of the Carpenters), Steve has opened for Kenny Loggins, Little River Band, Dave Mason, Randy Meisner (Eagles), America, Three Dog Night, Kansas, Charlie Daniels, Kenny Rankin, Richie Furay, and 38 Special.
